Mark Kratochvil (Company Director)

Over the past 6 years Mark has grown Rimburra Constructions and successfully delivered a variety of residential and commercial projects in Sydney.

From the early days as a cadet civil engineer with Civil and Civic to a director of Rimburra Constructions, Mark has gained a broad range of knowledge and skills for the design and construction process at both the client and contractor level. Prior to the commencement of Rimburra Constructions Mark was a Project Manager for Multiplex Constructions Pty Ltd.

Commencing with Multiplex in 1997 as a General Foreman, Mark quickly rose thought the ranks of General Foreman, Project Engineer, Site Manager and Project Manager. Mark’s hands on approach was instrumental in the success of some highly complex projects including George Street Upgrade Stage 4, Head Quarters Training Command Victoria Barracks, Wondakiah Residential, The Wharf at Woolloomooloo Restaurant Precinct and Cobham Juvenile Justice Centre. Marks projects ranged in value from $500k to $120m.

Before Multiplex, Mark had Contract Management and Site Management roles with Kumagai and Interco on numerous projects including Chifely Tower and a 17000m2 office fit out for Bankers Trust. Marks project experience also includes, Commercial, Retail, Refurbishment, Correctional Centres, Health Facilities, Civil, Industrial, Residential, Sport & Leisure for clients in house, private, institutions, local, state and federal governments.

 

 

 

Shaun McNeill (Construction Manager)

Shaun has 10 years experience in the construction industry. Shaun is a qualified construction manager and undertakes all aspects of contracts management overseeing the day to day operations of our organisation.

Shaun started his career undertaking a national diploma in construction, which then lead to a degree in Construction Management. During his time at university he was employed by one of Scotland’s leading construction companies  Ogilvie Construction as an assistant site manager progressing to site manager over a four year period. During this time he worked on a number of complex mixed use residential apartment buildings, ranging from $15 - $20 million dollars. These projects were finished to the highest of standard with strict budget constraints.

In 2008 he then progressed into a contracts manager role within a large labour only sub-contractor, Construction Team. Shaun’s role here was to supervise quality, manpower and OH&S on multiple contracts. These projects ranged from cladding of multiple office buildings on a $350 million project, to bricklaying on two separate care homes valued at $12 million.

He has since immigrated to Australia late in 2009 to join our team at Rimburra. Last year he successfully helped us complete two schools for Bovis lend lease in the BER program along with several internal fit-outs for Kelloggs Australia.

 

 

 

Tom Holland (Assistant Site Supervisor)

Tom became part of the Rimburra team in the beginning of 2010. He was quickly drafted into managing roles on larger projects while balancing a fast paced uni schedule.

Tom is currently completing his third year of a Bachelor of Construction Management and Property Development at the University of New South Wales. Through this Tom has been able to bring a range of innovative ideas and approaches to construction to the workplace. Tom has been instrumental in the implementation of our management systems helping to make our projects run safely and to a high standard. Since his inception into the company, Tom has quickly grasped the concepts of construction management, demonstrating sound communication skills with the management of both clients and subcontractors proving him to be an invaluable member of the team.
